"You were the previous white mouse? And you gave birth to so many?!" Elizabeth recognized Lily.
Lily was clearly not pleased with this answer, hands on her hips she retorted, "Excuse me, I'm still a girl! I haven't even held a boy's hand, how could I have children! These are all my mouse friends' kids."
"Alright, alright, get on with your business," Charles interrupted their exchange, as he hadn't brought Lily here to chat with Elizabeth.
Lily turned around and squeaked a few times at a room full of mice.
The mice's squeaks resonated intermittently within the room, the noisy clamor making Elizabeth, who furrowed her brows, lean slightly towards Charles.
Soon, the mice finished their communication, and Lily picked up a pen nearby and began to write awkwardly.
Though it was clumsy for her to hold the pen with her small paws, the writing she produced was surprisingly nicer than that found in Deep's diary.
