The battle ahead came into sight, and Marcus pulled the sword on his waist and charged forward. His men saw their leader charge ahead and couldn't help but feel embarrassed, picking up their own pace. Kacper heard the horde of men charging at their side, and although he had made small preparations for it, his men became more uncontrollable as the battle raged on.
Marcus saw the small shield wall prepared on the flanks and smiled, wondering when his enemy was going to catch on to his plan. Despite that, he didn't stop. Slamming into the wall, he knocked back one of the enemies and plunged his sword deep into their chest. A booming cheer came from the wall, seeing their allies charge in, and the Commonwealth soldiers felt slightly on edge. Despite that, they still outnumbered their enemy and didn't completely falter.
