Achilles knelt in pain. He clenched his face and his chest tightly. His action made the others stop moving as they circled him.
Sia was the first to come as she asked worriedly.
"Darling? What happened? What's wrong? Talk to me."
Achilles didn't answer her because he was trying to calm himself down. He thought about the incident that had occurred.
'...Heart, lungs, brain, and other vital organs were completely obliterated within a single second...What the fuck could have done this?'
The monster was too fast. He was just trying to take a glimpse at the Corrupted but before he knew it, the crow was already dead. Somehow, it had woken up during the worst time possible and spotted the crow.

The Corrupted must have been awoken the whole time. Or at least, when Achilles was trying to approach it, it had taken notice of him. But the mysterious yellow-eyed abomination didn't try to investigate and choose to pretend to be asleep.
