Galen had been walking the halls of the hospital every single day with a nurse, trying to slowly restore his movement and stability.
He hadn't lost strength as much as he lost coordination and range of motion because of the stiffness in his body. Dr. Salus assured him it was normal for a Basilian after being exposed to such cold temperatures. She even said he was lucky that it wasn't worse.
As lucky as it turned out he was, he couldn't help being frustrated.
He wanted to impress Ebari and show him he was ready so he could elaborate on his feelings. Yet each time he stumbled just from walking or failed to grasp something small, he knew Ebari wasn't going to tell him what he wanted to know just yet.
After they showered together, it also seemed like Ebari was intent on avoiding touching him despite the teasing words he often said. Galen wasn't bold enough to ask for anything further so he remained in a state of longing for the other man when he was right next to him.
