In the middle of the arena, Prince Edward was on his knees with his head low, looking at the floor. He just committed a heinous crime early, and I found it strange that he had not moved since then.
Suddenly, after a few minutes of silence, Edward finally moved and stood up on his feet. He then slowly turned around and came to face me.
"So the biggest threat, the Raevender family, is finally here."
That was what he said. Even though those words came out of Edward, I had a gut feeling that it was not him who said them.
It seemed like my fears had come true and Edward had been mind-controlled by someone else. Edward was probably manipulated through either the armor or the sword, or might be both.
First, it was Edith; now him? What a couple goal.
"What happened to you, Prince Edward? Why did you kill the emperor, who is your father?"
