"Just do it. We don't really have time to think about it."
He could understand Stella's concerns. It was in his best interest not to use fusion around other people. But they didn't have that option right now. The behemoth was too strong, and the limited zone posed too many restrictions. They might be able to kill it after a long drawn out fight, but the out some wasn't certain.
"I'm trusting you to keep what you see between us," Rune said, directing his attention toward Vara and Xena. "If your queen is interested in forming an alliance with me, then I can tell you more. But I'd appreciate your discretion until such matters are decided."
Rune then walked over in front of Stella and knelt down on the path. His arme screeched as the sand stream ground against it, but he ignored it. He instead looked over at Shiro and called her to his side. "Come, Shiro. I can't do this without you."
