Mona turned toward the direction of the voice. There, she saw a young lady, wearing a fabulous gown decorated with pieces of jewelry. Her rounded face showed a beaming smile upon seeing Vaughn, the seven-year-old kid. Her pink hair danced behind her as she walked, and her crystal-colored eyes glowed with the diamond earrings she wore. She approached the child gracefully and slightly bowed at the cheerful kid.
"What are you doing?"
Vaughn flashed his pearly white teeth and exclaimed excitedly, "I am making you a wreath, Mother!"
His eyes shone the same way the woman's eyes did.
On the corner, Mona was silently watching the scene, a bit surprised to hear the kid called the woman that way.
"Why? Aren't I already wearing enough jewelry?"
"But you don't have one on your head? You don't like wearing tiaras or any head ornaments because you said they're heavy. So, I made a wreath of your favorite flowers!" Vaughn lifted his tiny hands and showed his creation.
