During the previous episodes, Li Yanchen had yearned to eat Lin Wan's cooking. However, he was a little hesitant now that she offered to cook.
"Although I feel ecstatic with that offer," said Li Yanchen, "I can't bear to make you cook every day."
[Mr. Li is such a gentleman.]
[He really is!]
[Are you sure he is not doing that because Lin Wan's cooking is bad?]
[No. It does seem like he likes her food but can't bear to let her cook every day. My husband only knows how to lie on the sofa and order me around.]
[It's the same for me. I get criticized all the time for the food I cook, but no one ever offers to help me in the kitchen. Mr. Li is such a rich and successful man, and yet he doesn't mind doing nice things for his wife. He is even willing to cook.]
