Principal Dong chuckled at her question, his amusement evident. "How could a mere principal like me have any connection with the high and mighty Dong family?" he said in an exasperated voice.
He let out a sigh, a hint of resignation in his tone. "If I had any connection with them, I wouldn't have been bullied this long."
"In fact, you are more powerful than me," he continued with a self-deprecating smile. "This old man can't even compare to a young girl."
Principal Dong dramatically retrieved a handkerchief from his pocket and pretended to wipe away nonexistent tears. Seeing this, Su Anya's mouth twitched. Why the heck? She had met a lot of dramatic people in this life.
Su Anya started to feel a headache after seeing Principal Dong's antics. She looked at the clock on the wall and said, "It's getting late for class. I am taking my leave." With that, she rose from her seat and briskly walked out of the room, without bothering to ask for permission.
