Ray wakes up, his body is still aching from the damage he sustained a couple of hours ago. 'Argh... It feels like I got run over by a truck...'
Asrea is waiting in the corner, asleep in a chair, as well as Minaric who is still awake with a tray of food he is eating from.
"Hm, you are already awake. You got hurt quite a bit, what happened?" Minaric asks.
Ray rubs his head and sits up, "The leader of the Shadowdance family got angry and fought me. He managed to get me outside of my territory, I held my own for a bit and knocked him out but then something powerful struck me..."
"Ha... To think a god could get bested! Well, it is still impressive that you managed to beat an archmage, especially outside of your territory." Minaric praises.
Ray stands up, and the aching is beginning to go away more as his body heals, "Not really... A newer trick I have allows me to become a minor deity for a bit, and even then I had to do a decent amount to win. How did I get back here?"
