Just a few hours later, Garrick, along with others, returned to the Royal Palace. As soon as he returned, he requested an audience with the Emperor through his butler.
Shortly after, his butler returned to let Garrick know that the Emperor was waiting for him in his study room.
"Your Royal Highness, are you sure you want to do this?" Alfred was worried.
As a servant, he did not want his Master to go down this path.
After all, Charles was his father.
Not only this whole situation would ruin the reputation of the Royal Family but it would also change Garrick. Besides, before serving Garrick, Alfred served Charles. Alfred still had deep respect and admiration for this current Emperor.
