It's over!
In the instant he was knocked down by the net, he realized what was about to happen. His body crashed to the ground, but he didn't care about that at all. All he did was lift his hands high, preventing the medicine box in his grasp from shattering due to the impact.
He tucked the medicine box underneath his body and twisted his head back to look at the guards and Joseph striding towards him.
"You filthy swine, coming here to steal medicine!" Joseph, seeing the man immobilized on the ground, instantly wore a triumphant look, his small mustache quivering again. He didn't hesitate to kick the man, cursing, "If you've got no money, then forget about getting treated!"
"Why don't you just wait to die, you poor scum?"
"After all, when you grow up, you can only be sold off, might as well die early!"
Joseph kicked the man repeatedly, venting his rage without any restraint.
