"First, who exactly is conducting these experiments?" Jiang Shu asked.
"The warden," Clo replied swiftly.
"Will he really turn this place into a monstrous site?" Jiang Shu continued.
"Uncertain," Clo answered.
"What does 'uncertain' mean?" Jiang Shu furrowed his brow.
"The warden is indeed conducting research in this area, but the progress is uncertain," Clo replied.
It was almost certain now. Clo must be in a hypnotic state; otherwise, he wouldn't have given such an answer that could jeopardize the entire escape plan.
Jiang Shu continued, "How did you know about my existence?"
A flicker of struggle appeared on Clo's face, then he answered, "You are a bug in Lonely City, as obvious as a candle in the night... using search programs..."
Suddenly, Clo opened his eyes. He looked at Jiang Shu, his expression confused and puzzled. "Did I pass out?"
