Demons are a rambunctious bunch that has always fed on human desires since time immemorial. Their history and memory go back to the time when humanity first learned to walk and with the first cry of intelligence was also the arrival of demons, who signified change more than anything.
They were the first calamity the intelligent races of this world faced and also the reason why the gods descended to aid the newly enlightened beings, giving them the fulcrum with which they were able to fight off the influences.
But that was so long ago, such history is virtually impossible to record or maintain till this point. The only reason such words are taken for granted is due to the church's propaganda, for the truth. I was unaware of it, even with the little interaction I had with the demons, they matched the records 1:1, greedy creatures, that only wished for the torment of all those who dared to touch their existence.
