The man he tracked was a distant cousin of his, a monster with corrupted blood capable of immense evil. Due to the relationship between the bloodlines, the Royals can't just send anyone. This matter concerned their blood, something only they had the right to handle; otherwise, who knows what others might use that blood for?
Because one shouldn't forget what happened in the past, what this blood or the legacy it carries is capable of.
A legacy that sounded absurdly evil to some extent, but such evil was born out of the mistakes of the Royal family.
