After leaving the room of Malt Wine, Russell walked with his hands tucked into his pockets and donned his hood.
"Deer Leader,"
he called out softly, without any warning.
[I am here]
That ethereal, light female voice resounded in the depths of his heart.
"Open the Door," Russell's hand rested on the doorknob, his eyes closed, "it's time we had a talk."
But when he pulled open the door, he stepped into that familiar room.
The room was brightly lit, filled only with countless doors.
It was a maze composed of innumerable doors. No matter how many times one looked at it, the feeling of grandiosity would be followed by sadness.
Standing in the middle of it all one would feel nothing but confusion, as if at a crossroads in an unfamiliar place, looking in every direction but unable to find a way out.
As Russell walked towards the room where the Deer Leader was, he murmured, "I've just met with Malt Wine."
