"I can understand your curiosity, my origins and those of my siblings are rather shrouded in mystery," Ignis nodded. "Most gods don't even know of our existences, let alone the mortals living in Arcadia right now. We are unknown and forgotten, but that's perhaps what father desired."
"But why?" I wondered.
"Please, master, don't think ill of my father, he did this only to protect us," Ignis explained. "I do not know exactly from what, but it might've been what caused his death. By sealing us in his forges after spending a few hundreds of years with us, he protected us from what was coming… And although they were desolate, lonely days, I spent them mostly sleeping until you appeared. And now, the world has changed, and it is even connected to another. My father is gone now… and I can't say I don't miss him."
