The second floor had fewer people, with only a few seats occupied and the rest were empty. The seat where Tan Rou and her group sat was against the wall, concealed by plenty of plants, and one wouldn't notice them unless they walked over.
Tan Rou and her group picked out several books to place on the table, partly to shield their line of sight and partly to read. The books here were quite good and more than half were written in an international script, so Tan Rou did not feel much pressure reading them. Zhuang Liu casually picked up a book and started reading it with Tan Rou.
Although Tan Rou was reading, her attention was entirely on Monica; she wanted to hear what Monica was talking about.
"Oh, ever since you became a princess, we've rarely come out to eat together," said a woman in a white long dress, "The last time we met was two months ago. You don't reach out to us, and we dare not message you."
