An explosion engulfed the two teenagers, as the laser beams coming from the beetle's eyes reached them within a split second.
Silvia tried to evade, but the beams were too fast, ultimately, Justicio was right in front of her, protecting her from the deadly beams.
"Justicio!"
She gasped as she saw the boy's arms burning red, his metallic skin melting away.
"Uuggh…!"
He groaned in pain, gasping in disbelief that he survived that.

The giant bug roared, about to fire yet another pair of missiles.
Silvia desperately grabbed Justicio and tried to run away, only for the beams to reach her.

"Uwaagh!"
Barely evading them by jumping into the air, the explosion down below sent her flying even farther away, landing on the ground head-first.
"Ouch, ouch… Agh!"
"SHYAAERGH!"
The monstrous beetle rushed towards them, this time aiming to just crush them with her giant, sharp as spears legs!
