With that, Arthur opened the door and stepped out, entering a large hall filled with similar doors lining the walls, with hundreds of Demons busily moving about.
Some exited the doors alone or in groups, while others gathered in small clusters, chatting and reconnecting. A few approached the large semi-circular counter directly ahead of the doors, where they checked in with their seals before leaving.
The emblem of the Gozonian Interstellar Empire—a horned head surrounded by an elliptical ring of golden stars, with crossed swords behind it—covered much of the floor, and the number '47' was inscribed next to it.
Arthur studied the symbol in silence, and as he stood there, some demons began to take notice of him.
The first thing that caught their attention was the two stars on his uniform, indicating his Major General rank.
