"Good morning." Dom said as Natasha walked into the dining room, he was setting the table for breakfast.
"Good morning." Natasha replied she almost laughed seeing the way he looked like a housewife that had just woken up and rushed to make breakfast for the family.
"Why are you in such a rush?" Natasha asked as she helped him set the table.
"I have to get to work very soon and I have to finish making breakfast." Dom said as he rushed into the kitchen.
"I get that, but don't rush so much, you might end up breaking something." Natasha called from the dining room.
"You're right." Dom said as he finished setting the table and Lulu walked into the kitchen.
"Good morning guys." Lulu said as soon as she set her eyes on Dom she started to laugh.
"Oh my lord, you look so ridiculous in a suit wearing an apron." She said pointing at him.
"Good morning to you too Lulu." Dom said not sounding pleased at all.
"You look way too hilarious, I need to take a picture of this." She said laughing bringing out her phone to take a picture.
"Natasha, you have to agree with me, he looks too funny." Lulu said as Natasha laughed.
"She's not wrong." Natasha had to admit.
"Well I don't care, I got up early just to make breakfast for everyone, so you're welcome." Dom said taking off the apron.
"What did you make for breakfast?" Lulu asked as she sat down.
"Eggs." Dom replied.
"Why am I not surprised?" Lulu scoffed as Natasha sat down.
"Hey, don't you insult me, it's not my fault I didn't have time to make something elaborate and fancy." Dom said sitting down as he sipped his cup of coffee.
"Your eggs are always so bland, Natasha we better start getting used to eating eggs everyday for breakfast for the time that Alfred isn't here." Lulu sighed eating her eggs.
"Stop complaining Lulu, maybe tomorrow I will have some time to make something else." Dom replied as he frowned eating his eggs. He had forgot to add salt in his eggs.
"You better, because I can't eat eggs every morning." Lulu whined drinking her cup of coffee.
"Yeah, yeah, are you going out today?" Dom asked turning to Natasha.
"Yes I am, there are a few things I need to check at the farm, then I need to go to the store to make sure everything is running smoothly." Natasha said biting into some toast.
"Alright, and when will you be back?" he asked.
"Well I'm going to leave once Joy wakes up, and considering how late she stayed up last night." Natasha chuckled.
"That's true, I just checked on her and she's still out cold." Lulu laughed.
"That's expected, I told her last night, she stayed up way too late." Dom shook his head.
"Leave her be, it's summer time." Natasha said.
"I'm just worried that when school starts she will be too used to waking up late." Dom said.
"That won't be a problem, when it's time for school to start, she'll change her schedule, but for now, it's summer so let her enjoy it." Lulu said.
"That's true, anyway, when she wakes up, I'll leave, and maybe I'll be back by four, I hope it will be earlier, but it might not be." Natasha said as Dom nodded.
"I'll have to work late tonight." Dom said sounding worried.
"You guys should both relax, I have everything under control." Lulu said.
"Joy is going to be fine with me, she won't even miss you." Lulu said proudly.
"Oh really now?" Natasha asked laughing.
"Yes, I have this aunt thing covered, Joy loves me so much, I'm sure if I was a mother, I would definitely rock this being a mother thing." Lulu said proudly as Dom chuckled.
"Oh really now?" he asked sipping his tea.
"Yes." Lulu nodded.
"Well what time did you wake up today?" Dom asked.
"Well at seven thirty, as usual." Lulu said.
"Not at usual, you wake up whatever time you want, when you're a mother your child dictates what time you wake up, your life is constantly surrounding by their needs and wants, which is your greatest joy and also your greatest burden." Dom said.
"Mhmm, your brother is right, once you have a child, your life will never be the same forever." Natasha nodded.
"That's true, you're going to be a parent forever, for the rest of your life." Dom said.
"Your child can grow older, but they will never be older than you, you will always be a parent, always." Dom smiled.
"Wow, so are you guys trying to discourage me from thinking of having my own children?" Lulu asked.
"No, just see it as us giving you some advice and a heads-up for when you're finally ready to become a mother." Natasha said sipping her tea.
"Alright, alright, thank you for the advice, when I really need it, I will ask you two since you're very well experienced." Lulu said as Natasha frowned.
"Hey, is this my tea blend?" Natasha asked at Dom.
"Yes, why do you ask?" Dom asked.
"It doesn't taste like it." She frowned.
"Oh, wait, it must be my tea blend, I must have accidentally switched it when I put the teabags into the bowl." Dom said.
"I'm sorry." He quickly apologized, he knew how picky she was about her tea.
"It's fine, it doesn't taste bad, it's funny in a good way, what kind of blend is this?" she asked him.
"Well it's a blend of green mango and apple." He said proudly, he could see her interest, he felt proud, finally he could share some tea blends with her.
"Hmm, interesting." Natasha said taking another sip.
"It's nice." She said.
"I am glad you think so." Dom smiled happily.
"Oooh, before I forget, Dom, the guys and I were talking last night." Lulu said.
"When do you and the guys have time to talk?" Dom asked surprised, they all went to bed very late last night.
"By the guys I mean Charlie and by time I meant I slept really late, anyway, Charlie and I were discussing, because he speaks for the guys and we want to have a game night for all of us to hang out just like old times." Lulu said.
"That sounds nice." Natasha said drinking her tea.
"Yes it does, so can we have game night this weekend?" Lulu asked batting her eyelashes. She missed when they all used to hang out together.
"Hmm, I don't know about game night, but we can watch a movie together and have some ice cream. I bought everyone's favourite flavours last week so it would be a perfect time for all of us to hang out." Dom said.
"That's even better, so movie night this Friday or Saturday?" asked Lulu.
"Let's do it on Friday night." Dom said.
"Lovely, I can't wait, please tell me you're in Natasha." Lulu said turning to her.
"Of course, I live here, besides, a movie would be a nice way to relax." She laughed.
"Great." Lulu smiled.
"Well ladies, I have to be on my way now." Dom said as he stood up.
"Be a good girl, watch over Joy and I'll see you later." Dom said giving Lulu a kiss on the forehead and she scoffed.
"I am always a good girl, and you don't have to worry." Lulu said.
"Right, have a good day Natasha." said Dom as he smiled at her.
"You too." She replied. Dom could not even help but smile. It felt so good to hear her speak to him without any anger, hate or malice, it was just plain, normal talking.
"Tell my princess I'll try to come home as early as I can." Dom said.
"Don't worry we will." Lulu said as Dom smiled and took his leave.
"Finally, he's gone, his eggs were terrible, it's like he didn't add any salt and instead pepper." Lulu said.
"I know right, I just did not want to hurt his feelings. I thought it was only my eggs." Natasha laughed.
"He's really too much sometimes. I also didn't want to hurt his feelings." Lulu laughed.
"Not to worry, I'll make sure to make a lovely lunch to supplement for that terrible dinner." Lulu said.
"Alright, so what is Joy going to eat?" Natasha asked.
"Her daddy's eggs of course, she needs to know how delicious her father's eggs are." Lulu laughed as she and Natasha laughed.
"I am going to take a shower." Natasha laughed shaking her head.
"Enjoy it." Lulu said.
"Don't worry I will." Natasha replied as Lulu got up and started to clear the table.
"I love it here." She sighed and smiled to herself. Life was good, she loved her life right now and she really wished that Alfred would have a swift recovery.
Lulu hummed as she walked into the kitchen and did the dishes.
