A few hours later, the three of us stumble out of Sinner’s Den in a fit of laughter. I have never seen Faeryn so drunk in my life and yet here she is, barely able to stand as Brina holds her arm and the two of them sway side to side, walking down the long path that leads back to Brina and Tatum's cottage.
“Are you two sure you’re going to be okay walking back?”
Brina smiles, glancing over her shoulder. “Yes, now go. Hurry before your mother throws a fit that I kept you out too late.”
Regardless if I’m an adult, she has a point. My mother would absolutely throw a fit. Especially since I’m technically “grounded” in a way. Forced to only go to Brina’s per the Queen of Tvre’s orders. A.K.A no fun Aunt Cassie.
