Crey abruptly froze as he stared at the ice cream cone in his hand and then peeked at the beautiful girl standing opposite him. Avery was similarly savoring her ice cream, while she said that very casually. Nothing looked off, as it seemed she was just asking a casual question.
They were on an accidental date. Avery didn't know that he was not here for this, while Crey had(though not forced) to go through this to prevent her from embarrassment.
It's been two hours. They went as a couple to experience photometric channels, a Shopping Spree at the mall where she shopped and Crey watched, a coffee shop date, etc. But at this moment her sudden question shook the Crey.
