In the veil of rain, several tall figures had just dashed out of the alley, looking around.
His heart stirred, so he unlocked the central control and pushed open the car door, "Get in."
"Thank you, thank you," she said.
The little girl quickly got into the car, and a gust of cold air rushed into the vehicle.
"Big brother, please hurry up and drive. Those people are bad—they just killed someone," the girl said as she cleverly crouched under the seat. Her drenched clothes soon soaked the dry interior of the car with spots of moisture.
The young man closed the car door, started the car, and as he passed the towering pursuers, one of them glanced inside the car but only saw a young man driving and did not spot anyone else.
It was clear that the young man was of distinguished bearing, not someone they could afford to mess with, so the person who had raised his hand intending to stop the car quickly lowered it.
And so the young man drove the little girl away.
