Now the answer was revealed. Daoist Brother did indeed have an interest in her, but it was different from her guess: he wanted her to work for him!
Giving up everything in Douglas Country was indeed a difficult decision to make. However, Fairy was also tempted by Daoist Brother's promise. She was a cultivator, and every cultivator in Central State dreamed of having a "protector."
Fairy knew that by staying in Douglas Country, she could never achieve that dream. But going to Godfery Kingdom would instantly realize that dream, and with the Divine Beast Avatar in hand, she would belong to the strongest group of protectors, so nobody could call her inferior.
