The trio stood frozen in the tunnel, the darkness ahead feeling heavier than ever. The faint, guttural growls reverberated off the walls, sending chills down their spines. Pyro instinctively raised his blade, his fingers curling tightly around the hilt.
"Aria, light," Ashen whispered urgently, his eyes scanning the pitch-black void ahead.
Nodding, Aria summoned a faint glow with her [Radiant Orb], the sphere illuminating their surroundings. What the light revealed turned their blood to ice.
Shadows shifted unnaturally across the cavern walls, twisting and coiling as if alive. Then, from the depths, three figures emerged—humanoid but grotesque. Their bodies were gaunt, their skin ashen gray, and glowing purple veins pulsated beneath the surface. Their eyes burned with violet flames, void of any humanity.
Ashen's breath hitched. "Voidspawn Thralls…"
Pyro clenched his jaw. "These things don't look like pushovers. Ashen, do we have any data on them?"
