Luo Bin's eyes sparkled with hope as she turned to Yu Holea. "Really? You got it?" she asked eagerly.
Yu Holea, however, didn't answer right away.
Instead, she crossed her arms and looked at Luo Bin with an unreadable expression. After a few seconds, she finally spoke.
"No," she said firmly. "I won't give it to you."
Luo Bin's face froze. "What?" she asked, her voice shaking. "Why not?"
Yu Holea's gaze didn't waver. "Because I don't trust you."
Luo Bin's expression changed immediately.
Her eyes widened, and her lips trembled as if she had just been struck.
Slowly, she turned to her father, Luo Murong, looking heartbroken.
"Father…" she whispered, tears forming in her eyes.
Luo Murong glared at Yu Holea.
"Holea, what's wrong with you? Bin is my daughter! Why are you being so harsh to her today?"
Yu Holea remained calm.
She didn't react to his anger, nor did she explain herself.
She simply stood there as if Luo Bin's tears didn't affect her at all.
