Knowing that everyone was asleep he took the opportunity to sneak out of the house. Closing the door softly he turned around to meet Abdin who gave him a disapproving look.
"Where do you think you're going? It's quite late shouldn't you be with your wife?" he nagged like a mother hen.
" I'm doing this for my wife, I don't want her life to be always on the run, she doesn't deserve it" he sulked. Abdin sighed "What's the plan, because ain't no way I'm allowing you to go alone" Asad looked at the house again before they ventured deeper into the forest.
"so this island is all yours?" Abdin swatted a leaf away from his face as they continued to walk. "Yes that's right but I didn't want it after I found out what my father does with it" His face scrunched in disgust. Abdin wondered what it was his father did or was doing with the island but he knew well enough to ask unnecessary questions.
They heard a clicking sound and stopped, "what was that?" Abdin asked, "Shhh don't make any sounds" A swoosh was heard in the air and a needle pierced Abdin's neck and he fell, the next moment another one came flying and it hit Asad in his arm, he fell to the ground losing consciousness but before he fully lost his vision he saw his father and another man, the man had amber eyes, he had seen those bewitching eyes before it's...its..... He lost consciousness.
When he woke up he was bound to a chair. He struggled but couldn't get free, "struggle all you want but you won't be able to free yourself''. It was the man with bewitching Amber-coloured eyes he remembered who he was now. "Jamal, what are you doing here, I'm so glad you followed us. It does not matter I'll ask you later just untie me so we can get out here" Jamal snorted "We? Who is this we you speak of hmm, left for me we should just leave you to rot here but no your father sees you as an asset" He walked over to him. "you think you're so special huh, I don't even know what got into my fathers head for him to agree to that sham of a wedding"
He looked him deep in the eye "What the fuck do you have that I don't? What does Balira see in you hmm?". At this point, Asad didn't even understand what was going on now. "what are you saying Jamal, you don't know my father as I do, what are you even doing with him?". Jamal smiled at him. They both heard the door click and in came Mr Malik "He's awake, look at him my precious baby boy" He walked up to him and grabbed his face "You sure had me chase after you boy, and that wasn't nice of you, all you had to do was just to work for me that's all I ask but no, you had to be stubborn" he slapped him twice with the back of his hand, it made Asad's lip bleed.
"Dozo, come over and teach this son of mine not to be disobedient anymore"
A hefty man with facial features similar to Bozo's came forward, Mr. Malik turned around and left with Jamal trailing behind him. From what Asad understood Jamal seems to be operating with his father. Anger filled his handsome features, Dozo came to stand in front of him "I'm sorry young boss but I have to do this" Asad sighed "I'm sorry to Dozo for this" His legs which weren't bound kicked Dozo in the groin hard, he fell to the floor in pain.
Asad stood up with the chair behind him, he jumped and landed on the chair, he got up, jumped and landed on the chair again this time it caused the chair to break. His body was free but his hands were still on the handle of the chair. He walked to the wall and hit the part of the chair to which his hands were tied, after some try the piece of wood broke. He was free but his body ached from falling into the chair. He took the leg of the chair and walked over to Dozo, "Forgive me Dozo but it's survival of the fittest out here" He used the chair to bash Dozo's head until he fell unconscious. He made sure he was still alive and got out of the room.
He was careful how he walked around, he searched for Abdin, and when he eventually found him he got in the room to remove the bounds from him
"Asad, how did you free yourself " Asad gestured for him to shut up. When he was free, they both made their way to look for an exit upon finding one they were about to escape when someone grabbed Abdin. "where do you think you're going?" it was one of his father's men. "hey get your hands off me" he began to struggle until Asad came and punched him until he fell to the ground and they made their way out.
"boss they escaped, everyone goes look for the prisoners go go"
Asad and Abdin ran for dear life, occasionally falling and tripping it was hard to see because the sun had set long ago, but they ran and ran. They heard dogs from a distance "shit" Asad cursed "Hurry up we have to get the others and get the fuck off the island quick" When they reached the house the rest were already Awake and worried because they were both missing.
"where have you been, I fall asleep and you decide to play Mission Impossible huh?" Balira was enraged, Asad hugged her and kissed her forehead " I promise there will be enough time for you to scold me but now is not the time please" Balira sighed "Okay let's go, he dragged her out of the house and then rest followed them out of the house.
They ran on the beach which was hard because of the Sand, they heard gunshots, they ran as fast as they could and reached the water, a boat was there waiting for them. They got on the boat one by one when it was Vic's turn to enter Mr Malik shot at his leg. He couldn't get into the boat by himself so Asad had to drag him into the boat and off they went.
Mr Malik was enraged, he shot two of his men in the head and they fell lifeless.
"Fuck, Fuck, Fuck," he cursed. "Joshua, throw them in the ocean so the sharks can have dinner" He began walking away from the beach.
"Wait what about Asad, shouldn't your men be chasing after him?" it was Jamal who asked this.
Mr Malik turned around with a sinister smile "Oh he will be back don't worry"'
