Storming out of the servants' quarters, Matthew hurried towards Eldrin's room.
Exhaling a deep breath, he pressed a concealed button on the door handle, gaining swift entry.
Inside, Eldrin was seen visibly concerned as he allowed Matthew to enter his room. "What's happening? Why do you look so pale?"
"Sir! The lorry driver just spilled the truth!" The old butler exclaimed, his breath slightly labored. "Mr. Adrian has orchestrated a raid before arriving here! He's seeking revenge for his parents! Logan Denaro's men will be here soon!"
Eldrin's irritation was palpable as he clicked his tongue in annoyance. "Are you absolutely sure he's telling the truth? Did you find out how Adrian managed to find him?"
"Sir, I understand your concern, but we are running out of time. We need to call for backup now! If Logan Denaro's men really makes a surprise move, we won't be able to hold them off alone!" Matthew urged, magnifying the gravity of the situation etched on his face.
