Realms-Ranks-Levels-Energies-Laws-Dimensions (SPOILER ALERT!)

BE WARNED ⚠ THESE COULD BE SPOILERS.

These are the Realms of Power, Ranks, Energies, and core information about Laws that will be referenced frequently throughout the story.

Explanations for certain terminologies, principles and abilities are also included here.

Fair warning—it's a long one.

First, let's talk about the timekeeping and calendar systems. 📅 ⏰

The timekeeping system follows a familiar structure for most planets and universes:

•60 seconds per minute

•60 minutes per hour

•25 hours per day

•7 days per week

•12 months per year

If a specific planet or universe operates under a different system, that will be clarified as needed.

There are multiple calendars that apply on different scales:

Macro Scale: The Cosmic Cycle Calendar is used, where 1 Cosmic Cycle equals 1 Million Years, each with 365 days.

Micro Scale: The General Calendar is used for more localized tracking.

Each General Calendar spans 10,000 years, and once completed, a new cycle begins. So, the 50th General Calendar means it's the 50th cycle since this system was introduced, totalling 500,000 years.

For the record, our Main Character was born on December 31st, Year 700 of the 50th General Calendar.

◇ ◇ ◇

Now then, the Existence Realms. 🔥

These are the Realms of power/existence, or the level of existence that will often be referred to.

Important Notes:

Each Realm/Level of existence has three stages;

Inferior—Intermediate—Superior.

The destructive power levels mentioned refer to a being's full power, and they would/might be drained or exhausted after using attacks on this scale. This principle applies to higher Realms as well.

These power levels indicate the ability to damage beings with equivalent durability or defences.

Similarly, beings with creation abilities can manifest matter or structures on par with their destructive counterparts.

The methods for advancing through the Existence Realms also apply to higher ones.

One can ascend by:

•Absorbing energy cores from monsters or existences of equal or greater level.

•Through training or gaining battle experience through actual combat.

•Other unique or special methods, depending on the individual or universe.

EXISTENCE REALM CATEGORIES.

These classifications define the tiers of power based on the degree of Cosmic Superiority attained.

Non-Cosmic Realms: Achievable by anyone, given enough time.

Sub-Cosmic Realms: Minimum requirement of Partial-Cosmic Superiority.

Cosmic Realms: Minimum requirement of Full-Cosmic Superiority.

The Existence Realms

Listed from Lowest to Highest:

[Non-Cosmic Realms] ♧

Mortal Realms: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Master, Grandmaster, Epic, Legendary, Sovereign, Transcendent.

Bronze Realm—The weakest Realm/Level of Existence. Where most civilians and those of other weaker races are found. It is the default state for most races.

Silver Realm—The next level after Bronze. It generally takes about five average Bronze Realm existences to defeat one average Silver Realm existence.

Gold Realm— Mainstay for the strongest experts in most NORMAL worlds, including skilled swordsmen and magicians. The average Gold Realm existence is roughly equivalent to ten Silver Realm beings.

Master Realm— The level of Master Swordsmen or Great Mages, surpassing peak humanoid limits. Certain races may have children born at this level, depending on their parents or the nature of the race. It can take tens of Gold Realm existences to defeat one Master.

Individuals in this realm have the power to wreck entire towns on their own.

Grandmaster Realm—At this stage, most individuals have unlocked unique abilities or skills related to the energy they use. Mages at this level are called Archmages. Grandmasters can easily destroy single or multiple cities, depending on their Existence Realm Stage.

Epic Realm—Here, one possesses a higher energy capacity, with possible skill or unique ability upgrades, though these are rare. The destructive power of combat-oriented beings in this Realm can range from destroying mountains to small islands.

Legendary Realm—At this stage, one starts to shed their mortality, preparing for ascension to a Higher Existence. This process begins with the acquisition of nodes within their soul, granting the ability to perceive and manipulate ambient Universal Law Energy.

Destructive power at this level can range from destroying large mountains, islands, or even small countries.

Sovereign Realm—This is the peak of 'Mortality'. At this point, conventional Realm progression methods no longer apply.

To break through to the next stage, one must prove their qualifications to attain Transcendence, either through a great feat or by achieving a significant breakthrough in their skills or techniques.

For example, a swordsman might create their own unique sword style or develop their Ultimate technique. Alternatively, an Alchemist could create a high-level potion or a blacksmith might forge a Legendary sword that was previously beyond their capability.

At this level, one can effortlessly destroy entire countries and even sink small continents.

Transcendent Realm—At this stage, one is effectively not a 'Mortal' anymore. This is the transition stage between Lower and Higher Existential states, so one exists in a limbo between the two Existential states.

Both the body and soul undergo a profound upgrade to a higher level, granting the individual the ability to comprehend and understand the inner workings of Universal Laws, beyond merely manipulating the ambient law energies.

Most individuals experience a dramatic increase in lifespan, far surpassing the limits of the Realms below.

For example, an elf that would typically live 500-1000 years might now live up to 5000 years. As one progresses to Higher Realms, this lifespan continues to increase, with some achieving near-immortality depending on the circumstances.

Destructive power at this stage can obliterate landmasses spanning half the area of average continents at a minimum. By the Superior stage, most combat-focused Transcendents can easily sink multiple continents.

Exuviation

To ascend to the Existence Realms beyond Transcendence, one must reach the Peak of Transcendence and possess enough Universal Law Comprehension to grant them an Authority in a law.

Any existing Pseudo-Authorities (gained when one meets the Authority requirements while still Transcendent) will automatically be upgraded to Complete Authorities.

One needs to meet the prerequisite Energy Level, Soul Strength, and Physical Body Strength for the process of ascension to begin.

This process is called Exuviation, and it is the shedding of one's Mortal Shell, in preparation for their ascension to a Higher Existence.

Deity Realms: Half-Deity, Low Deity, Mid Deity, High Deity, Monarch

Half-Deity Realm- From this point, one is a Higher Existence.

The Half-Deity Realm is the beginner Higher Existential Stage.

To reach this Realm, one must gain an Authority over at least one Basic-Rank law, typically achieved around 50% comprehension, though this can vary depending on circumstances.

Destructive power range: Even the weakest can sink a continent with ease. Obliterating a moon is considered standard, and turning a small planet into a dead rock is within the realm of possibility, though this is more common for nonstandard existences.

{All existences in this Realm and above gain a protective layer or barrier around their soul, made of an energy type closely related to their existence.

For instance, a god would have a layer made of divinity, while a demon would have one made of demonic energy.

The number of layers increases as one progresses through the Higher Realms.

For example, a Half-Deity would have one layer, a Low-Tier Deity would have two layers, and so on.}

Low Tier (Rank) Deity Realm—To reach this realm, one must possess the equivalent Authority, typically achieved with 50% comprehension of a Low-rank Law. It is also possible to hold multiple Authorities at this level.

In pantheons, beings in this realm often oversee a world or multiple worlds, depending on their specific stage of power.

Destructive power range: Here, being able to destroy planets is the mainstay. Depending on their stage, beings of this Realm can unleash destruction on a stellar or even star system scale, though the latter is less frequent.

Middle Tier (Rank) Deity Realm—

As with the other stages, one must possess the equivalent Authority to reach this Realm, typically achieved with 50% comprehension of a Mid-rank Law. Entities at this level are usually responsible for overseeing a varying number of solar or star systems, depending on their specific stage.

There is a significant power gap between this stage and the previous or next, and as a result, most beings spend dozens to hundreds of millennia within this Realm.

The destructive power of beings in this Realm ranges from stellar to multiple star systems. In this context, "multiple" star systems can refer to anywhere from one or two to hundreds, thousands, or even millions.

High Tier (Rank) Deity Realm— This is the realm of high-ranking and MainEntities of a pantheon. As with other realms, one must possess the equivalent Authority to enter this Realm, typically achieved with 50% comprehension of a High-Rank Law.

Examples of beings at this level include the Twelve Olympians, the Great gods of Romersk, or the Divines of Oblivion.

Destructive power range: At a minimum, a galaxy. Destructive power range: At least, a galaxy. The energy contained within the cores of beings at this level simply just CANNOT be below the level required to end an entire galaxy of at least 100,000 light years.

Depending on their stage, beings on this Tier are capable of creating and/or destroying from one to a dozen galaxies.

Monarch Realm—This is the level of most Pantheon Leaders and Masters of Universes. While many on this level are Universe rulers, not all need to be.

To reach this Realm, one must have a sufficient comprehension of at least one Monarch Rank law and the corresponding Authority.

Beings at this level possess the power to create and/or destroy multiple galaxies—at least a few dozen—taking into account the vast distances between celestial bodies, rather than just the matter contained within them.

Depending on their stage, they can affect thousands, millions, or even billions of galaxies, though this is typically seen in higher stages.

This stage also features a significant power gap between the previous and next levels.

Note: Since the Existence Realm is the pinnacle of power on the Universal scale, surpassing it is impossible without first attaining some form of Cosmic Superiority.

♧ [Sub-Cosmic Realms]

Primogenial Realm—

As the name suggests, this Realm marks the first stage after achieving some form of Cosmic Superiority. To reach this Realm, one must be at least a Sub-Cosmic being.

From here onward, increasing power through the use of other energy types becomes less effective, though this doesn't reduce their effectiveness in battle. The decrease in effectiveness only impacts the speed at which these energies can be used to enhance or cultivate one's Realm of existence.

Cosmic Energy, however, is best suited for advancing one's level of existence.

The destructive power of beings in this Realm remains unknown at this point in the series. However, at the very least, they are capable of 'deleting' all celestial bodies within a 3-D space spanning an area of at least 50 billion light years.

Phantasmal? Realm—Little is known about this Realm, including its actual name. It has only been briefly mentioned in the story.

Sage Realm—Similar to the Phantasmal Realm, very little is known about this Realm, including its true name. Only offhandedly mentioned at this point in the story.

♧ [Cosmic Realms]

Quasi-Supreme Realm—Little is known about this Realm at this stage in the story, except that they possess powers called 'Aspects'— a personalized representation of one's assimilated laws.

Supreme Realm—Little is known about this Realm at this stage in the story, except that existences in it are capable of destroying entire universes with ease.

Grand Supreme Realm—Details about this Realm are scarce at this point in the story.

Zenith Haven Realm—No details about this Realm have been revealed yet.

◇ ◇ ◇

Nonstandard Existences.

Nonstandard Existences are beings who possess power and abilities that exceed the typical capabilities of others in their Realm of existence. These entities have the potential to contend with beings from higher stages or Realms.

For instance, an Intermediate Stage Epic Realm Existence may hold enough power to challenge an Inferior Stage Legendary.

While they may have the ability to fight against stronger foes, it does not guarantee victory. However, in most cases, they are able to triumph.

Even in instances where the Nonstandard existence is among the minority who do not emerge victorious, simply facing beings from Realms or stages higher than their own is considered an impressive feat.

◇ ◇ ◇

Cosmic Superiority.

First, let's define what Cosmic Energy is.

It is the most powerful and superior form of energy in the entire 'Cosmos'—basically all of existence.

In simple terms, one could say that the strength and vitality required for sustained activities throughoutthe Cosmos is Cosmic Energy.

Cosmic energy is the life force that exists any and everywhere. It exists throughout the cosmos, between galaxies, within molecules, and both inside and outside the boundaries of space and time.

This energy powers every galaxy and universe in existence. In fact, their cores could be described as massive orbs of highly concentrated Cosmic Energy.

Like other forms of energy, Cosmic Energy can be manipulated. However, most beings cannot even perceive its presence, much less dare to dream about manipulating it.

The vast majority are completely unaware of its existence!

Across every corner of the Cosmos, countless beings remain oblivious to both its presence and its capabilities.

Yet, there are also those who are fully aware of its power. These beings are Cosmic Superiors.

Sub-Cosmic Beings:

Beings capable of fully perceiving and manipulating ambient Cosmic energy in their surroundings are known as 'Sub-Cosmic' beings.

Attaining Sub-Cosmic superiority is not dependent on one's Existence Realm, but it is extremely 'rare', often chalked up to 'luck,' 'chance,' or 'destiny.'

Sub-Cosmics can physically 'see' Cosmic energy, which appears as a multi-coloured form of energy omnipresent in their environment.

Other traits of Sub-Cosmic beings, in addition to their ability to perceive and manipulate ambient Cosmic energy, include but are not limited to:

•Enhanced physical, spiritual, and astral body parameters, elevating them to a level where they surpass others within the same stage/Realm of existence.

•A boon of elevated soul strength.

•Nigh-immortal physical bodies. No matter how battered and bruised they become, their bodies will eventually heal by absorbing ambient Cosmic energy over time.

Even if their bodies are completely destroyed, they can reconstruct themselves using ambient Cosmic energies. However, the speed of this process varies.

However, if a Sub-Cosmic being suffers damage from high concentrations of energy or higher-quality energy, their regeneration process would slow down. If they are harmed by Cosmic energy, their regeneration could even be negated entirely.

Thus, while killing a Sub-Cosmic being remains incredibly difficult, it is not impossible.

For instance, if a Sub-Cosmic being were a mere Transcendent who offended a High-Tier Deity, the Deity could erase them from existence before they could even begin to heal!

Cosmic Beings:

While Sub-Cosmic beings can perceive and manipulate ambient energies, Complete or Full Cosmic Beings possess the same ability and can additionally generate Cosmic Energy from the energy cores within their bodies.

The minimum requirement to become a Cosmic Being is the Low-tier Deity Realm, as any existence below this level cannot withstand even the smallest amount of Cosmic Energy that resides within a Cosmic Being's body and soul.

This includes Nonstandard existences, Irregulars, and Singularities.

Like Sub-Cosmic beings, Cosmic Beings have nigh-immortal physical bodies, enhanced parameters, and incredibly strong souls. The protective energy barriers around their souls merge with Cosmic energy, fortifying them further.

It is impossible for a true Cosmic Being to be 'killed' without the use of Cosmic Energy. Granting them 'True Death' is also extremely difficult, as their physical bodies' nigh immortality extends to their souls, along with various restrictions.

Additionally, Cosmic Beings can dominate and control the surrounding ambient Cosmic energy temporarily, giving them an advantage over Sub-Cosmic beings, who can only manipulate ambient energy.

This information will be updated if further details about Cosmic Beings are revealed.

⚖Law Explanations:

ꕥ Universal Laws. 🌌

Universal laws are the set of rules that define what is possible and impossible within the universe.

They are the building blocks behind major principles of the greater universe, upon which everything operates, ensuring that events and phenomena can be predicted and understood, and also introduce limitations and constraints on the abilities and actions of individuals and entities.

Examples of Laws Include: Creation, Destruction, Proliferation, Decadence, Necromancy, Swords, Water, Earth, Life, Darkness, Karma…

And, of course, no list would be complete without everyone's favourite pain in the ass, the Son of a Bitch Law known as Causality. 😶😒

The Universal Laws in the series, like the Realms, are divided into ranks. These are:

Basic Rank,

Lower Rank,

Middle Rank,

High Rank,

Monarch Rank.

(Additional ranks will be added later.)

Every Universal Law possesses these ranks. For example, the Law of Fire has a Basic Rank, a Lower Rank, a Middle Rank, and so on.

There are several ways to gain access to a law for the purpose of comprehension.

The most common method is through the use of law crystals—crystals naturally/artificially formed from condensed law energies. These crystals contain knowledge or information about a specific Universal Law and how it functions.

By comprehending the information within a law crystal, one can gain an Authority over that law's power.

However, the information stored within these crystals is not designed to be easily understood.

It's jumbled, unclear, and chaotic—which is exactly why comprehension is necessary before a law can be used.

If the information made sense from the outset, anyone who picked up a law crystal would instantly gain an Authority with no effort. But that's not how it works.

Comprehending laws is the only way to gain Authorities, and without the required Authority for a given Realm, advancement into that Realm is impossible—even if one possesses strength comparable to those who have.

Laws must also be comprehended in order. One cannot attempt to comprehend a Lower-Rank Law without first understanding its Basic-Rank form.

⚠ Now then... the son of a bitch law:

Law of Causality – The Law of Cause and Effect

Arguably one of the most important—and most annoying—laws in the multiverse.

It plays several vital roles in the narrative:

•It ensures the system of every universe functions properly.

•It assigns and enforces roles—making sure every being fulfils their "fated" purpose at the proper time.

•It blocks access to information individuals have no right to know.

•It punishes or restricts beings who attempt to break existential rules or bypass their limitations.

Importantly, these rules are not universal across all universes—what is forbidden in a Lower World may be allowed or even encouraged in a Higher or Prime World.

One of its core responsibilities is preventing higher existences from descending into lower realms or dimensions carelessly.

Why? Because powerful beings emit energy on a scale that can outright destroy weaker worlds.

For example:

A Monarch Realm existence—with energy levels that allow them to obliterate hundreds of galaxies—descending onto a tiny, low-level world using their true body that contains all that energy?

Yeah, that planet would immediately be torn apart by the sheer pressure and energy overflow. 💥🌍

Thus, the Law of Causality steps in to prevent such catastrophes.

◇ ◇ ◇

Progenitors. 🙋🏽‍♂️🧝🏽‍♂️🧛🏽‍♂️🧜🏽‍♂️🧜🏽‍♀️🧛🏽‍♀️🧝🏽‍♀️🙋🏽‍♀️

A Progenitor is the first of every race and serves as the lifeline of that race. If a Progenitor dies, no new members of that race can be born, leading to the eventual extinction of the race.

They couldn't be any more important.

The Law of Causality forbids anyone from impersonating a Progenitor. If someone falsely claims to be a Progenitor, they will receive a warning. A second offence results in a more intense warning, and they will instinctively know that any further attempts will lead to their death.

By the third offence, the Law of Causality will act without hesitation to end their life, regardless of their strength, even if it means mobilizing the power of an entire universe.

Progenitors possess three main abilities:

•Authority of the Progenitor—The abilities of this Authority differ depending on the race. It has a passive that lets the Progenitor possess most of the traits or affinities that members of their race could possibly have.

Additionally, it grants the Progenitor a significant power boost when activated, while also enhancing the strength of any members of their race who are within their presence.

If those members are fighting on behalfof their Progenitor, their power receives an even greater boost.

•Race Command—This ability allows the Progenitor to control members of their race within a certain range.

•Race Creation— This ability lets the Progenitor create Ancient and Elder Breeds of their race. There is a cooldown of 10,000 years for every Ancient Breed and 1,000 years for every Elder Breed.

Ancient and Elder Breeds are all connected to the Progenitor that created them, allowing the Progenitor to exert a level of control over them even without using Race Command.

World Rankings and Structure: 🌐

In the Cosmos, worlds/planets are ranked based on their structural integrity, resources, ambient energy levels, gravitational mass, density of universal laws, and the strength of their space-time fabric.

These attributes determine not only the kind of lifeforms that can exist within them but also the level of power the world itself can safely withstand.

The World Ranks are as follows:

Lower,

Middle,

High,

Prime,

Apex/Ancient.

Will be updated as the series goes on. —Primordial

(P.S. MC's home world, Aeturn, is an Apex World.)

Naturally, Lower Worlds are the weakest. They possess minimal ambient energy, low mass, and a fragile spatial structure. The gravitational fields in such worlds are light, and the density of universal laws is sparse.

Because of this, they are easily affected—and can be outright destroyed—by beings with power beyond their limits. For instance, a Deity Realm existence accidentally kicking the groundtoo hard in a Lower World could shatter the planet's surface or trigger tectonic devastation.

[Real World Example: Lower Worlds typically range in size from small planetary bodies like Mercury to Earth-sized planets]

Middle Worlds are far more stable than Lower Worlds and are the most common type of planet across the Cosmos. However, they still aren't ideal for sustained residence by Deity Realm existences or higher.

They have denser law energy presence and stronger gravitational structure, but are still vulnerable to collapse under extreme power—unless there are special circumstances in play.

Starting from the High-Level, Worlds/Planets begin to develop sentience.

These worlds acquire true Consciousnesses, as opposed to the rudimentary wills present in Lower and Middle Worlds.

These sentient planetary minds are 100% logical existences, dedicated solely to ensuring their own long-term survival. Planetary Consciousnesses are capable of manipulating their ambient energy levels, and gravitational fields, and can exert influence up to the maximum limit of their gravitational field's range.

Their primary role is the preservation of internal stability—intervening when necessary to prevent universal system failures or to repair localized disruptions. For example, if the fabric of space within its bounds is ruptured, it is the planet consciousness' job to oversee and manage the repair process.

Additionally, these planetary consciousnesses are nigh-omniscient within their own gravitational fields.

Note: Although not as frequently discussed as planetary classifications, Galaxies also possess their own hierarchical distinctions.

They are sometimes referred to as either Higher and Lower, or Primary and Secondary galaxies.

This classification typically relates to their location within the universe—specifically, galaxies situated closer to the universe's core. These central galaxies are more intensely influenced by the energy radiating from the core, resulting in significantly elevated ambient energy levels and overall greater strength. Planets also have higher chances of promoting to higher levels in higher galaxies.

◇ ◇ ◇

Pantheons. 🏟️

A pantheon refers to the collective group of gods within a particular polytheistic religion, mythology, or tradition.

This concept extends beyond the god race.

In essence, a pantheon is made up of a set of powerful beings (primarily Deities) who are responsible for overseeing or ruling a specific universe.

For example, the noble class of the Devildom in Hell constitutes a pantheon, with each noble being a recognized member.

These beings are referred to as Entities of the pantheon, while the leading figures (such as the Twelve Olympians) are known as the Main Entities.

Each Entity governs a specific domain, and within this domain—or any area they have declared as such—they gain increased strength and enjoy several unique advantages.

For instance, Hades' domain is the Underworld.

◇ ◇ ◇

Magic Tiering; ✨

Magic, ether, and all other forms of energy used for casting spells are categorized into tiers.

Currently, only Magic Tiers 1 to 8 have been shown. If more tiers are introduced, this auxiliary chapter will be updated accordingly.

Each spell cast using this tiering system follows a specific pattern.

•A magic circle or ring represents the flow of magic or energy.

•At the centre, a mark or crest signifies the element of the magic being used.

•Surrounding this central mark, there is writing in a magical, ancient, or runic language that describes the type of spell being invoked.

This structure is present in nearly all spells cast unless otherwise stated due to a different magic system within a particular universe or planet.

The number of circles or rings in the magic circle indicates the spell's Tier.

The more circles/rings a magic circle has, the higher the tier.

For example, if a phrase states—

'A three-ringed magic circle spread out...'

— this implies the spell is a Tier 3 spell.

Below are the typical Realms where individuals can comfortably cast spells of each Tier. While there may be exceptions, the norm is that one must be in these realms or a range of Realms to cast corresponding-tier spells:

Tier 1: Bronze Levels and above.

Tier 2: Gold to Master Levels and above.

Tier 3: Superior Stage Masters to Grandmaster Levels and above.

Tier 4: Epic Levels and above.

Tier 5: Legendary Levels and above.

Tier 6: Transcendent to Half-Deity Levels and above.

Tier 7: Peak Superior Stage Demigod to Mid-Tier Deity Levels and above.

Tier 8: Superior Stage Mid-Tier Deity to Monarch Realms.

◇ ◇ ◇

True Name; 📛

A being's true name is the closest thing to their soul, so to touch their true name is to touch their very soul—one of the three Main Aspects of an Existence, along with their Body, and Energy Core.

Because of this, most beings go to great lengths to protect their True Name from being fully revealed.

Typically, only their parents know it, as they are the ones who give it. However, this applies only to lower existences.

Once an existence reaches the Half-Deity Realm, their true name changes. From that point onward, only they themselves know their true name.

If someone gains access to another's true name, they can exert control over the being in various ways—manipulating their thoughts, and actions, or even forcing them to end their own life.

◇ ◇ ◇

True Voice;

Upon reaching the Deity Realm, a being's voice becomes passively imbued with law power and Authority.

While it may be heard audibly, it also feels as though the Deity's words are being spoken directly to one's soul.

The true voice of a Deity Realm existence holds such power that it can shatter the minds of most Mortal existences.

The difference in power between them is so vast that even a single utterance with hostile intent can damage or destroy a mortal soul.

For this reason, Deity Realm existences typically 'Switch Off' their true voice, unless they are conversing with others of their Realm.

They achieve this by consciously halting the flow of their inherent Authority into their words.

◇ ◇ ◇

Boundary Field

A Boundary Field is a technique that weaves a network of energy over a designated area, such as land or a building, to form a mystical boundary that separates the interior from the exterior.

More advanced Boundary Fields can extend across greater distances and uneven terrain. It is also possible to imbue an ability within a Bounded Field that is constantly active on default.

They are the basis for 'Domain Declarations'.

With A Domain Declaration, one delineates the boundary line with space itself, allowing them to be declared within the vacuum of space without issue. Of course, the enhanced abilities and benefits become stronger and more specialized than with Bounded Fields.
