Chapter 136 - Training

Adisa took a knee. His body was tired, as he gasped for air. Tank didn't let up, he charged at Adisa with his axe high in the air. "Keep up, Adisa! Don't let up!" Tank warned with his deep voice, almost shaking Adisa's body from the inside. "Damn it," Adisa whispered to himself. He looked to his side to see the lion grooming itself. (He's not even looking. As if me and Tank are nothing but Childs play for him!)

Adisa picked up his sword and charged at Tank. The two clashed, creating a massive shockwave in the area. Tank unleashed his aura, pushing Adisa back. Tank ran up and delivered a powerful blow to Adisa's stomach. Adisa coughed up blood.

He was then lifted into the air and thrown back to the ground. Adisa flipped and rolled until he caught himself on his two feet. Tank didn't let up, he continued to charge at Adisa. Adisa avoided his axe and landed a powerful jab on Tank's side.

The lion's ear twitched. "Hmm." It growled.

Adisa jumped back and clapped his hands together. "Destructive chaos burst!"

Black aura shot from Adisa's hands like a shotgun. Tank spun and slammed his shield into the ground. His view was now covered. Adisa took this opportunity and jumped above Tank. (Got him!) Adisa thought.

Tank immediately looked up. "Destructive attack: Erase!"

Tank swung his shield over top, absorbing the attack. "REFLECTION!!" Tank yelled. Adisa was shocked to see his own attack coming at him.

Adisa swooped down to dodge it. The two stared at each other. "Spamming the shield." Adisa murmured softly. Tank scuffed. He cracked his neck and dropped his shield. "My fist is more than enough, Adisa."

Adisa felt disrespected in the moment. He'd never face someone who willingly tossed their weapon to the side. "Cocky bastard!" Adisa threw his sword and stretched out his two arms.

Tank dropped low and used his aura to fly at Adisa like a powerful jet. "Hyper…BURST!!!"

Adisa couldn't even blink. The massive knight's fist had already landed.

(What's this?!) Tank thought.

Somehow, Adisa grabbed Tank's hand and jabbed his foot into the ground with aura.

Tank looked down to see Adisa mean-looking him. "Chaos…PUNCH!!!" Adisa lit his right hand with purple aura that looked like dark flames. He squatted down and jabbedd Tank. Adisa could feel the powerful armor, like it was hitting back. Tank was flung across the darkness. "Don't let up, Adisa," the massive lion said. Adisa heard, and ran after Tank. Adisa leaped into the air held his left arm out.

Tank used his fist to stop the sliding. He looked up to see a massive spear formed in Adisa's hand. Tank quickly pulled both his arms back, preparing for his own attack. "NO you don't!" Adisa yelled, throwing the spear faster than the speed of light.

Tank was almost to slow. Just as the tip of the spear hit Tank's head, he began to dodge it. Adisa noticed this slight movement in less than a second. "Not so fast!" He yelled out. He closed his hand, causing the spear to go off like an explosion.

Adisa landed carefully back on the ground. "That…sludge done something. Still though, how were you about to dodge that? That's insane, Tank." Adisa complimented. Through the thick smoke emerged Tank. "Getting better with your abilities and speed. Not bad, Adisa. We can take a break now."

"No way. I wanna keep going." Adisa said. "As you wish," Tank replied. Tank jumped up and dropped kicked Adisa. Before Adisa could hit the ground, Tank teleported behind him and slammed him into the ground. Adisa's body bounces off of the ground like a volley ball, as Tank again hit him five times while he was in the air. He followed up with a kick that sent Adisa headed towards the lion. Adisa flexed his body, causing it to stop. Adisa turned to face the creature. "Why are you looking at me like that?" The lion asked. "I want to know your real name," Adisa said.

"You have a knight in front of you. Worry about him before me," it purred.

Wonder used his long claw to pick at his teeth. Him and Opal were approaching a structure made of mud. "Dirty trash," Opal sighed, "do we really need this pride, sir? Just look at them."

Wonder took a knee and played with the dirt. "Learn to appreciate things. I'm doing this, so I can prepare myself to protect my family in a war that we have started." Wonder said in a calm and majestic tone. "Let us continue walking. Do not judge or look at their Queen in any way. These are mythical beast just like us…just a different pride."

"WHAT!!?!? Nope! Not gonna happen." Jade argued. Frost kicked his feet up and took a sip of water. "Why not? Don't you want the help?" Frost asked in a mocking way.

"I'm not gonna work with YOU or the humans."

Frost tilted his head to the side and chuckled. In a quick motion, Jade grabbed her sword and held it in front of Frost's neck. "Don't you think for a second that I haven't forgot! You've betrayed your own kind and all of this is your fault!" Jade said.

Frost took another sip from his cup. "My fault, huh?"

Jade slammed her fist on the table, breaking it in the process. "Everyone will know what you've done soon enough."

"What I've done?," Frost chuckled, "I simply freed our people from the one thing they feared. That was Adisa! I stopped a war!" Frost argued. "By creating another one!" Jade argued back. There was a moment of silence between the two. "I wish…I wish I could see your eyes…so I can finally see all that guilt."

Frost put down the water and cleared his throat. "You know…I-I killed…my entire family…because of Adisa. I mean, literally…had to kill them to stop a war between clans. Now, let's say the beast were never in our upper ranks or higher-ups, what then? Adisa comes back and destroys the whole island." Frost leaned in, his ice starting to freeze the room. "No kid should have to kill their family…all because some…brat was born and hated. It's not right, it's not fair. That's all I can say, Jade Blind."

Jade mean-mugged Frost. A ferocious look wiped across her face. "Okay, Frost…"king" of the Frost clan. I will talk with everyone to see if they like the idea. Until then, stay away from me. The only reason I don't hunt you down and kill you…is because I believe your death will be pleasing when it comes." Jade said with a smirk. "You and Summer are gonna get what's coming to you."

Summer looked out the window and down the tall mountain. Green trees surrounded her, with the sounds of birds chirping away while soaring through the sky. Summer sat down and crossed her legs. Memories of her,Jade, and Adisa all training flooded her mind. A little smirk appeared on her face. She swallowed hard. "Adisa…"

Jerome,Jericho,Aubrie, Colt, Charlie, Elizabeth, and Splinter were all laying down in a massive crater. Bruised and blooded from their training. "You…sure are a pain in the ass with your abilities, boy." Jericho said to Flow. "Oh, thanks!" Colt said cheerfully. (Yep, kid doesn't get it,) Jericho thought. Jericho wasn't the type of Akie to insult or joke with his opponents. He liked Colt and his potential as an adult.

"I think Charlie here is a rare one." Jerome said while pointing. "You were an IP, right? How was it working with Frost?"

Charlie closed his eyes and sat up. "It was fun, really. Frost…was different back then." Charlie said with a sad face. Aubrie nudged Jerome, telling him to "shut up" without speaking a word.

Charlie looked over at Aubrie and the two exchanged glances.

Charlie jumped a little as he could feel a powerful presence looming over him. (Sorry, Jerome!)

Splinter and Elizabeth sat a few yards away from the group. "Are…you okay?" Elizabeth asked. Splinter gave her a confused look on her face. "Yes." He answered slowly. "I…I know I haven't done much but, that will change. Just you wait. Should we talk about what happened back there-"

"No." Splinter interrupted with a cold look on his face. "Forgive me, Elizabeth. A man with ambition is dangerous, but, a man with discipline is unstoppable. I must…I will get stronger. Forgive me but, I'd like it if you didn't utter a single word of it, okay?" Splinter asked. "Okay," Elizabeth whispered softly.

Flow had dug a big hole and lit candles around it. He got on both knees and began to pray. Flow sat there for a while and opened his eyes.

He covered Udo's body with a white blanket. "I'm sorry…old friend," Flow sighed while lifting his sliced body and placing it in the hole. "You…truly were…my best friend. Despite what you did to your family, know that I forgive you. I hope the gods will as well." Flow finished piling dirt on top of the body. "Something tells me that we shall meet again, Udo."

Flow could hear something beside him. He looked to his left to see Adisa. He was beaten and bruised. Flow said nothing, he just smirked and continued praying for his old friend. Adisa was on one knee and focusing on the pile of dirt. "That guy…was really something," Adisa said, "he was like a father to us…to all his troops and companions." Adisa added.

Flow nodded in agreement. "Yeah, I bet." Flow replied softly. The two exchanged glances.

"You must be Flow."

"You must be Adisa."

The two said together. "I'll go first," Flow replied. "I'm Flow…one of the children who's "cursed", Flow said.

"My name is Adisa, same situation here." The two men were both intrigued with each other. "I've heard the stories about you. Is it true that Angel is in you?" Adisa asked.

Flow gave Adisa a surprised expression. "Yes, she is still with me. My one love lives within me."

Adisa chuckled lightly. "Good for you, Flow."

"Seems like you're a depressed one." Flow commented. Adisa gave him a cold scold in the eyes. "Not depressed, just focused." Adisa said back. "That so? I hear you're trying to destroy your own kind. Humans also, right?"

"You're absoluty right." Adisa replied. Flow scuffed. "Killing your own race won't do any good, Adisa. I think Udo would agree with that."

Flow picked up his sword and began walking off. "I'm not just killing my own, Flow. I'm gonna kill the rotten and evil ones." Adisa explained with a focused and calm tone.

Flow turned to face Adisa with a faint and kind hearted smile. "Then, I wish you good luck, Adisa."

Jack walked down the burnt and quiet city. "This is the power…that humans possess? Why make such vile weapons. If they were to have them across the globe, then…"

"They do. Humans threaten to use these weapons on each other every day, Jack." Onbeperk said.

Onbeperk walked past Jack with his head high. "We are here to meet the human who's done the impossible. Not to feel bad for the dead."

Jack chuckled slightly, almost annoyed. "Whatever you say, Onbeperk. Anyway, this guy…you said he created what again?"

Onbeperk slowly turned his head to reveal his glowing green eyes. "They call it: Project Alpha."
