The more she thought about it the more excited she became. Not once, not twice, but several times Loki had infiltrated her residence without seeing any signs of the other party coming in or out.

Even though Loki or whoever he sent was able to come and go like ghosts they weren't actual ghosts. There was now an obvious trace of him but they could do nothing with it.
