The man's gaze was as sharp as a blade, making her heart pound with fear. Chu Xi's voice paused slightly, "I'm just making a kind suggestion, if you're not interested, pretend I never said anything."
Li Shengxiao's eyes narrowed slightly, "What's the doctor's name?"
"Susan," Chu Xi said, "You can look into her. I have no reason to lie to you. We're allies, and I just happened to think of someone I know when I was around, so I mentioned it to you."
Li Shengxiao's face showed no emotion, and he appeared calm. It was impossible to tell if he was truly interested, "I'll check."
He stood up from the sofa, looking down at Chu Xi from above, "You don't have anything else? If not, I'm off to a meeting."
