Although the information on the Dao Domain Lord Realm that had been gathered by Feng Chen and Chu Yang wasn't on the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm, the large quantity of information still helped in deepening his understanding of the Dao Domain Lord Realm. Allowing him to draw inspiration from the information to try and figure out how to break through to the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm.
Of course, even if he did have all this information, it was still incredibly difficult for him to figure out what it was he would have to do to trigger the transformation that would elevate his cultivation realm from the Late Stage of the Dao Domain Lord Realm to the Peak of the Dao Domain Lord Realm. Especially so considering that the time he had on his hand before ultimately being forced to break through was only a week or less.
