Ding-a-ling~
The hurried ring of the telephone shattered the tranquility of Bin City University's biological research lab.
Li Song, his hair a shaggy nest, clambered out from amongst the various experimental equipment and picked up the phone with a hint of impatience, "Speak up if you've got something."
There was a two-second pause on the other end of the line: "Professor, that... that..."
Click!
Li Song abruptly hung up and continued with his experiment.
Ding-a-ling~
The phone rang again, and Li Song, slightly irritated, tugged at his hair.
This time, before he could even speak, the voice on the other end rattled on, "The pet creature brought by the person Professor Chen Yixin referred here to borrow the Contract Array was too large and cracked the lab floor's glass!"
Li Song, holding the phone, was taken aback, and with a rub of his temples, said helplessly, "Slow down."
