Yaya trudged through the snowy mountains, each step causing the ground beneath to emit a slight crackling sound.
As it walked, it frequently looked back at Zifeng on its back.
He had been silent since earlier.
This was quite unusual for Yaya.
"Stop."
Hearing Zifeng's voice, Yaya halted its steps.
Jumping off Yaya, Zifeng raised his hand to caress Yaya's rock-wrapped upper jaw, his gaze filled with hesitation.
Yaya instinctively tried to shake Zifeng's hand off.
But seeing Zifeng's expression, it felt like there was something important.
"Do you want to come with me?"
"Gurgle?"
Its throat moved slightly as Yaya cocked its head in confusion.
Although it initially started out of revenge,
a short period of companionship had made it grow accustomed to Zifeng's presence.
