The Campbells watched as the convoy slowly drove away.
Aska seemed to want to speak but hesitated when he looked at his father.
"If you have something to say, say it," Rick prompted.
"Father, your health has only just improved, there's no need for you to go on this trip yourself," Aska said.
Rick didn't respond, but lifted his head to look at his son with a calm gaze.
"Do you feel embarrassed being the heir of the Campbell family and having to offer thanks in person?" Rick asked.
Just as Aska was about to make excuses, he met his father's deep gaze and held his tongue.
"The comfortable life you've had since childhood and the flattery of others have made you forget the excellent quality of humility."
"Aska, I'm very disappointed," Rick declared solemnly.
"I'm sorry, Father," Aska said, his head bowed, yet his tone lacked any hint of regret.
Rick shook his head slowly, then after a moment suddenly asked, "Do you know what Silver Fern Grass is used for?"
