Jason then told Dante his idea of finding a way to sneak Diane into the Colosseum without her grandmother knowing, but he cut him short as he explained his plan to get him into the Colosseum.
"Look, I get your point, and I appreciate your willingness to help your friend here, but I cannot take her without her guardian knowing."
"If anything were to happen to her, or you, who do you think would take the blame?," he asked, which left Jason silent as he realized his teacher was right.
Dante then sighed and said, "However—" he paused immediately, leaving both Diane and Jason in suspense.
At that moment, Diane's grandmother—an old yet active woman in her mid 60s—entered the shed holding a sack of vegetables and asked, "Diane, my dear. What are you doing in the shed? You're supposed to be at the stand."
