After a month of research, Richard had achieved substantial progress with Magic Runes, having filled dozens of Papyrus Scrolls. On the fingers of his hands, the No.1 Ring and the No.2 Ring each had a new Magic Rune inscribed on them.
The one added to the No.1 Ring was "Bai Ting Boiling Blood Technique", a very commonly used Spell. Considering its convenience, Richard ultimately engraved it there.
The one added to the No.2 Ring was "Small Dehydration Technique", a rather unique Spell. Taken at face value, its function was to speed up dehydration in the body, putting enemies into a poor physical state, thereby gaining a certain advantage in combat.
However, what Richard valued was not actually the effect of the Spell—dehydrating a person.
