Richard looked toward Angel, blinked his eyes, and quickly recalled the old woman he had seen during the day, dressed in the crimson robes of the Skeleton Rose Garden. He seemed to have had no contact with her at all, not even exchanged a word, so how had he brought trouble upon himself and now was to be killed?
"Why?" Richard frowned and asked Angel.
"Because..." Angel began to reply, "because... she saw me talking to you."
"..." Richard fell silent. What kind of reason was that?
"Don't disbelieve it." Angel explained, "In Rose City, it's basically all girls and women. This time, when Teacher Eva brought me and the others to White Stone Tower Academy, she warned us not to talk casually with people outside of Rose City, let alone talk to boys. I...
