Leaving the tavern, Richard was carrying a suitcase and walking back to the lab when his eyes suddenly flickered. He turned to look around the street, his eyebrows slowly raising.

Suddenly, Richard seemed to hear something and turned his head towards the corner of the street.
"Clatter clatter clatter..."
The sound of rushing footsteps arose, and in the next moment, a large group of people burst out from the street corner, dressed in gray linen clothes, wielding weapons, their gazes fierce. The person at the forefront pointed, shouting, "There! Charge!"
"Whoosh!"
A large group of people rapidly approached.
If an ordinary person saw this scene, most would be so frightened they would turn and run, but Richard blinked and remained still. He followed the gaze of the approaching crowd and turned to look toward the end of the street.
