Hermione POV:
I can't get Draco off my mind. The way he looked at me yesterday was strange. I finally snap out of it when Ron walks up to me.
"Hey 'Mione, we're gonna play truth or dare tonight, wanna come?" he says.
"I don't know, I have a lot of homew-"
"Hermione, you'll be done with your homework in like five minutes."
After a bit of negotiating, Ron finally convinced me to go that night. We met in the Gryffindor common room, but not many people showed up. It was only Me, Harry, Ron, Ginny, Neville and Luna. I had no idea how Luna got there, but I was glad someone came.
"We've got six people." Ron said sadly. He had invited about twenty to come.
"I have an idea," Luna said, turning to the portrait hole. She came back about ten minutes later with Draco, Pansy, Crabbe, and Goyle. (This is before the battle of Hogwarts) Harry walked over to Luna.
"Luna, what were you thinking? These are Slytherins, you know." he said.
"I know, I thought it would make the game more interesting."
"Ugh, fine whatever. Let's just start."
We all sat down and Harry started the game.
"Neville, truth or dare."
"Um, truth." Neville said.
Draco POV:
Neville looked so scared. Harry thought for a bit, then looked up at Longbottom.
"Is it true you like Luna?"
Neville went bright pink. "Y-yeah."
After about half an hour, Ginny was sitting on Crabbe's lap, Harry had kissed Pansy, Luna had taken off her shirt and Ron was on his fifth glass of Pumpkin Juice. All I had done was lick the Goyle's toe and answered a few easy truths. No one had made me do anything with Hermione, so I was doing fine.
"Draco, truth or dare?" Ginny said to me.
"Dare." I said, praying that she wouldn't make me do anything with Hermione.
"I dare you. . . to kiss Hermione."
"What!? You want me to kiss a filthy mudblood like Granger?"
"C'mon Draco, this is an easy dare." Ginny said. I stood up and went over to Hermione. She stood up and took a step toward me. I grabbed her waist, and I felt her lips against mine. Her arms were around my neck. We broke apart and saw the rest of them staring at us.
"What?" I said.
"You guys just kissed for a full minute." Harry said, staring at me in confusion. It had been that long? It had felt like two seconds for me.
