( Yuuki's POV )
When I saw the intruder in the arena I thought he had arrived a little late, It would have been useful if Matsu and Regina hadn't already developed their own IS core, but I was intrigued who would attack an island full of IS who were the most powerful weapon in this world, I decided to put it to the test.
I activated my dragon armor and made my body intangible to enter the arena, when I entered there, I saw the enemy, I didn't detect any signs of life, so that was an IS drone unit, its arms were large, and energy cannons were installed on them.
The IS drone used those cannons to fire two powerful lasers, Ichika and Lingyin were distracted arguing, so I had to act, I kicked Ichika away and carried Lingyin out of the way.
Lingyin: Hey what-, who are you?
Obviously, she was surprised to see someone in crystal scale armor, but I didn't answer her, after releasing her, I focused on the enemy drone, but it wasn't moving, I created a sphere of spiritual energy in my hand, this was a reduced version of a cero laser called Bala.
The enemy received the full attack and perhaps because he could not detect the kind of energy that built it he was pushed to the end of the arena, its shields protected it a bit and then he focused on me, he flew like that with his huge fist and I did the same, when our fists collided the drone's arm shattered from the force of the impact.
The drone tried to use its other arm, but I flew in an arc over it, and from its back, I ripped its other arm off its shoulder, then I grabbed the drone by its neck and started squeezing.
Ichika: wait, stop!
I was about to finish off the enemy, but Ichika tried to intervene, maybe he thought this was a human pilot and he didn't want me to kill him, he had already shown that hero mentality before but now he was a nuisance, I used another Bala to stop them but when he received the attack he absorbed part of the energy and his unit began to overflow with power.
Ichika: I told you to stop!
His unit showed another interesting quality, but again, that didn't mean the pilot inside had changed, I pulled out my bone tails to grab him by the feet and slam him into the ground, after breaking the enemy's neck, I shook my head and flew out of the stadium.

The rest of the tournament was canceled due to the intruder, and with most of the teachers analyzing the remains of that mysterious IS, our day off came early, and at the same time, my date with Cecilia, so now I was in a Mall in the mainland, waiting for Cecilia.
We didn't leave school together because she said she wanted the full dating experience, While I was waiting at the place we agreed on I was thinking about what happened the other day, The Crimson Crows members were on the lookout for me so when that drone didn't react to seeing me in my armor it told me that they weren't involved, I asked Charlotte if she knew anything about the transformation and the ability that Ichika's unit displayed and she gave me some of her extensive knowledge on IS.
The transformation he underwent during our battle was something called the first shift, a rare event when an IS unit adapts to its pilot and undergoes a transformation and that can create abilities specific to that unit, that was what he showed when the invader appeared.

While I was thinking, someone suddenly ran into my back, and that person fell on her butt, when I turned around, I saw a girl with red hair.
