By the time she finished the contents on her plate, Luna was already sleepy. William hadn't returned after he had hastened out of the hut a few hours ago. The servants had come and gone, most of them quickly leaving after sending the things to the room, none daring to stay a minute further with her.
She wondered what the alpha had told the servants to make them feel scared even to take a look at her. Though she felt a sharp glare now and again, it was not something that she couldn't manage. When the last of the servants left after collecting the leftover food from her table, the goddess relaxed, stretching her limbs like a cat.
Getting up from the chair, she looked around, finally getting the room all to herself. Though it hadn't looked like much from outside, the hut was quite spacious from inside. And for something that was constructed in the middle of nowhere in a time when it was hard to transport anything from the mainland to a remote area, the room looked quite good.
