"Aarrgh!" Luna screamed at the top of her lungs.
To the onlooker, she seemed to be in a lot of pain. Tears streamed down her face as she flipped to her back, her face distorted in agony as the servants quickly shifted away. Their expressions conveyed their shock as well as their fear. They were only minor deities, having no say in the working of the spiritual realm.
Each one of them was selected for serving the higher gods after years of waiting for the opportunity. Displeasure from their masters would either result in them being transferred to another department or, at times, getting evicted out of the palace grounds, back to the farms they had been tending since eternity.
Luna peeked at the girls surrounding her. They all look frightened out of their wits. She knew that they were used to her brother's temper, and that was the reason for their reaction. She pitied them, but this was her only chance at removing the crowd from her room. Her beloved was depending on her.
