Akumbo did not like this player who he did not know the name of. First, the player threatened his village even though he knew it was Sango's fault for provoking the man. However, there was no need to threaten them like he did. A reasonable argument would solve the problem as he knew The Chief and The Elders were reasonable people.
Second, the man was arrogant, as if he was a seasoned hunter and no one could hurt him. The player refused training and asked for a map. A hunter did not use a map, they used their instinct to read the surroundings and find their prey. Not only was he arrogant, but also spoiled.
