A loud gasp escaped her as she stood in front of the mirror in the bathroom. Gu Xin Ye looked at her reflection and was surprised to see how red her face was.

Gu Xin Ye patted both her cheeks a few times, hoping that it would help her to reduce the redness on her cheek. When that didn't work that much, Gu Xin Ye turned on the faucet and splashed some water on her face.

"Xin Ye, are you alright?" Shen Yi Nian gave her a look over as soon as she reached Gu Xin Ye's side. She stretched her hand to push off a few strands of hair away from Gu Xin Ye's face. "God. You don't know how scared I was when you suddenly fell into the water."
