The interviewer was just as in awe as anyone else would be. There were rumors that some places, even whole countries, were only accessible through invite-only, but they never thought too much about it or if it was even real. Standing in the elevator with security brought a change in perspective, along with a whole slew of new questions waiting to be answered. Questions like "Who resides here?", "What kind of business happens here?", "What are the people like?", "What kind of place is it?", and "What else is kept from the rest of the public?"

All those questions would be answered soon enough as the elevator bell rang. A doorman escorted them out into and expansive entryway, led through a pristine condo into a large fully decorated waiting room.

The wait wasn't too long, alone with no one else but the security. Upon meeting the business tycoon the security almost seemed like a futile appearance compared to himself. Alexander's figure was large and intimidating, making him a brute of a man even for one passing by his middle-aged years. The thick leather of his skin almost matched the black leather of his interior design if it wasn't for the subtle hues of green and brown that distinguished him from the Fabrics. While his Jaws were no different than any other crocodile, as he smiled, there was something more feral about the strength and size of his teeth that hinted he was not all entirely as he appeared to be.

"So, I heard you wanted to have a chat" he said taking a seat in the sofa across from the interviewer. "Yes, I only came to ask just a few simple questions to get to know a bit more about you Mr. Laveau." They said feeling the weighted pressure of any business meeting thick in the air. "And who directed you to my humble business?" he asked amused at the interviewer's less formal attire than his leanly crafted suit.

"Your name had been brought up by someone who mentioned they knew you. They go by the name Ethan Lupis-" "Oh yes my old teammates." he interrupted with a more relaxed smile, even waving off the security. "How is he doing these days? It's been quite some time since we've reconnected. He always seems to be busy with his work."

"He is doing quite well. Taking some time off to spend with the family." Alexander opened a decanter of an unnamed whiskey, pouring it into two glasses, one for himself and one for the interviewer. They shook their head to decline when he extended the second the glass to offer. "All good things I see. What kind of interview were you interested in conducting?" He asked.

"One that is meant to be very casual. Nothing too complicated, very simple questions. Nothing too serious." Alexander nodded taking a sip out of his glass and gestured for the interview to begin, not wasting much time.

"I'll start off with listing a quick series of questions to warm up the interview if you don't mind." Alexander nodded his response. Neatly setting the two notebooks down on the table in front of them, while reading off of one they began writing down, on the other, the answers.

Q: "Would you like to introduce your full name and what you go by? Would it be accurate of me to say that you are at least close to crocodilian? And what kind of job do you have?"

Alexander nodded through the rapid-fire questions letting the interviewer finish before answering. "I am, Alexander Laveau and I am as I've always been. I am indeed crocodilian, most of my family has been, although, somewhere on my father's side there was a mix of canine. I am a businessman in every sense of the word. I have long built my businesses so that we do not conduct all our endeavors and a single Market which makes it harder to explain more simply."

Q: "Do you have a nickname? If not, what would you want it to be?"

Alexander thought about it for a moment a smirk pulling at the corner of his lips. " I've had many nicknames. Most of them are the informal kind you make after a long friendship or partnership. So I would say no and I would not prefer to have any outside of those personal ones."

Q: "Any current relationships? It's quite clear that you're a busy man but sometimes someone on the side makes the workload feel less strenuous."

Alexandra laughed at the notion a deep rumbling chuckle. "Unfortunately, to the hearts of many I've broken, there is no such thing for me. Starting a relationship this far on in my career would pose more risks than potential benefits."

Q: Do you have a particular catchphrase or slogan that you often refer to?

"Invest only on what you're confident in. It may sound like an advise but it's something I run my business off of and as you can see," He gestured to his home. "it has done me a great service."

Q: If you could have one legendary weapon, what would it be?

"Something that would have a reusable purpose or an extensive well-known history. I don't usually keep collectibles or souvenirs for sentimental reasons. I prefer to only keep things that have a purpose."

Q: you mentioned that you have no relationship prospects at the moment. Does that make you more of a flirt or do you get flustered easily?

Most presume I'm a flirt or a tease but I am not as much as I used to be. In my younger years, I was, as any teenager and young adult would be in such interests. But I am no longer young or as carefree.

Q: What's the most ridiculous rumor you've heard about yourself?

A deep Rumble gurgled somewhere from inside his chest before he found himself in a full belly laugh. He forced a cough to help himself out of the fit which calmed him just enough to take another swig of his drink, relaxing his nerves. "There was one. Of course, I have many ridiculous rumors but this one in particular had caught me off guard, and I was not prepared to deal with it. See when I was younger I was indeed fond of flirting around but it wasn't something done recklessly. Maybe because she was upset that I never chose to settle down with her, one of the women who I had some relations with, claimed that she was with my child. I knew that wasn't even possible and yet there were enough people who believed it that it had become more than simple talk and rumor. Once the child was born, it was clearly not mine, but with how seriously many were taking these allegations, testing needed to be done for further proof. You can give someone the truth but you can't force them to accept it. Even to this day, some people still believe that the child is mine."

Q: What's one thing you wish people understood about you?

"That I'm a businessman first. Despite how intimidating I can appear with both my looks and with my Corporation, I'm always willing to sit down and make a deal as long as we both benefit from the deal. Some might consider that difficult. What can you offer to a man who already has everything? But anything is interesting if there is a need for it."

After nearly finishing the notes, the interviewer folded up one notebook and placed it back in their bag along with the spare pen, keeping one notebook out and a pen in hand. "Well, I know this question is off-script from the prepared questions but I must ask. Have you heard of the name Guenevere?"

Alexander's more casual posture returned back to that of the beast he looked like; calm, calculating, and cold-blooded. A smile cracked his lips coldly and leaned back on one arm. It wasn't an answer with words but enough was conveyed in the change of posture.

"Does it have anything to do with your business?" the interviewer pressed for an answer that they could write down.

Alexander answered in a low but quiet, hiss-like whisper. "Many people conduct many businesses at every corner of every globe. In business practices, I found it best not to speak preemptively of deals not yet made. And in life, it's best for one's health to not pry into another man's business."

The interviewer nodded solemnly and picked up the notepad along with their pen. No more questions needed to be asked and, in some part, there was regret that some questions were even made.

Heading back down the elevator and escorted to a teleportation chamber, the entire way the interviewer couldn't help but feel the constant need to check over their shoulder.
