Alvin had a broad smile on his face like looking at these current players who had just struggled to defeat a Level 1 Mad Pig.
As he drew closer to human settlement, Alvin realized that Byakko looked too conspicuous. A young man with such a huge white tiger would draw attention wherever they go and this wasn't something that he wanted for now.
So he instructed Byakko to withdraw into the surrounding areas of the forest where they could meet at the shortest possible time. From his memories, he knew Shimotsuki Village was a very peaceful place where pirates rarely ventured so he was unlikely to face any life threatening danger here.
Also, throughout this morning, after various experiments, he discovered that his telepathic connection with Byakko will remain intact as long as they are on the same Island!
But the white tiger refused. It didn't want to separate from Alvin. Alvin didn't know why but since the transformation, Byakko has become very attached and reliant on him. He didn't know whether this is due to the contract between them or a special effect of fate energy transformation. But nevertheless, he was still happy with this development.
But his headache now was how to make Byakko separate from him to avoid trouble. When he was coming up with a solution, he noticed Byakko's body suddenly releasing a bright white light and his body start to shrink. Alvin was very surprised when he saw this. He hadn't seen this skill in the skill panel earlier so he didn't know Byakko had this ability.
When the shrinking finally stopped, it now looked like a large ragdoll cat, weighing almost 40 pounds. Alvin was very happy when he saw this. At least now, he could bring Byakko around without attracting any extra attention.
Even though this talent skill consumes stamina, but Byakko's now monstrous recovery ability is able to offset it.
After walking eastwards for another thirty minutes, he finally noticed these players fighting with the Level 1 mad pig. He found it surprising that the combination of a Level 2 player and two Level 1 players found it difficult to hunt a Level 1 creature.
But then again, he realized that it wasn't everyone that had his sword talent as well as rich combat experience so it wasn't surprising that these people were struggling so much against such a weak creature.
Even though Alvin could have bypassed this group of players, he decided to approach them because he wanted to ask about the directions to Shimotsuki Village. Since these people were so close to the other side of the Island, they should know its location.
As Alvin drew closer, he suddenly stopped, frowned and looked to his left.
"Roooaarrr!!!!"
A loud angry roar came from his left side. When Alvin focused, he saw six pig-like monsters rampaging towards them. With his eyesight, Alvin immediately realized all these creatures were also Mad Pigs with three Level 2 Mad Pigs, two Level 3 Mad Pigs band one Level 4 Mad Pig Leader. The manner in which they were running towards this location showed that they were in for revenge. Byakko, who was resting lazily on Alvin's shoulders turned to look at these approaching beasts and closed his eyes again. it was simply not interested in these creatures.
Henry and his two other companions also noticed the beasts that were approaching and their expressions changed greatly. Being a Level 2, he was able to tell that these approaching beasts where not what he could handle.
"Run!!!" Shouting, Henry turned and fled, abandoning his two companions. Because he was a Level 2, his speed was faster than them, so he simply left them in the dust. The other two Level 1 players did not stay put bolted after him. They completely abandoned Alvin.
Alvin looked stunned at the running players and shook his head. He then turned to face the approaching Mad Pigs.
When the beasts got within a few meters of him, Byakko, who was still resting on Alvin's shoulders stood up and jumped to the side.
"Would you like to handle them?" Alvin looked at Byakko and asked. The tiger shook its head, walked to the side, and closed its eyes. It was disinclined to waste its strength on these weak creatures. Alvin shook his head and smiled…
"Nimble Feet"
Activating his now Level 2 movement skill, it was as if he disappeared from the spot and appeared in front of one of the mad pigs.
"Sword Draw!!"
'Pu!!" Blood splattered the head of the beast flew. Before the head even landed on the floor, Alvin was already on the next mad pig
"Layered Chopping Strike!"
His sword once again sent the head of another beast flying. In a blink of an eye, two of the beasts were dead! But he didn't stop there. At his current level, the strength of these beasts didn't make any difference to him. Six shots from Alvin resulted in Six deaths!

These prompts went off in Alvin's eyes as he stood there staring at the corpses of these creatures. He checked his Experience points at this time.

He smiled when he saw this. Hunting with Byakko was really more efficient. During this time, he rarely took action himself but he has almost reached the required experience points for Level 6! This was one of the benefits of having a beast partner..
He walked to the bodies and used his collection skill to collect the meat of these creatures. As he got stronger, his current food needs also increased. Byakko also consumed more than ten times the amount of food he usually ate so he usually collected all the meat from every creature he killed.
After killing the beast, Alvin turned to his left an realized the Henry and his companions had long fled.
"Ha ha, these people have no backbone at all. Just these creatures were enough to scare them so much" Alvin laughed and shook his head. He had actually forgotten that just a day ago, he fled faster than these players when he met Byakko!
"Byakko, come over and help me track these people. Since they are fleeing from here, they should be moving towards a place where they would consider safer and that should be a human settlement." Alvin turned to Byakko and instructed.
Byakko growled in displeasure but followed Alvin's command nonetheless. It seems this transformation had made it much lazier. If it were before, when they met these Mad Pigs, it would have been the first to attack. Alvin thought about it and realized that, this should be an effect of the shape reduction; it makes Byakko very lazy.
With the white tiger's acute senses, Alvin quickly found traces of the trio that fled and followed their tracks. After an hour of tracking, Alvin finally saw a footpath and followed it out of the forest. Standing at the outskirts of the forest, Alvin looked ahead and saw the place he had been looking forward to all this while. This would be the start to his real journey into this world, where all his plans will begin to take effect!
