Ethan Carter, a man drowning in debt, is given an ultimatum by his ruthless loanshark—pay up or disappear. When he’s pushed off a cliff, he expects death. Instead, he awakens in a strange world with two suns in the sky. Stranded and alone, he stumbles across a village barely surviving under the cruel rule of Lord Varkos. Taken in by a cautious young woman named Lyra, Ethan struggles to understand their language and their plight.
That night, he encounters a mysterious figure calling itself the God of Creation, who grants him the power to understand all languages—a gift for a traveler. As Ethan learns about Varkos’s oppressive reign, he feels powerless to help. But when a hunting trip turns deadly, he unknowingly activates an ability that allows him to travel between worlds. He wakes up back on Earth, shaken but determined to return. Armed with supplies and weapons, he thinks of Avalon—and suddenly, he’s back.
Ethan’s return changes everything. He saves Lyra from certain death and slowly earns the villagers’ trust.
